Tom & Mutz is an Italian-American restaurant, located in Beirut , Lebanon. The restaurant is inspired by the classic Italian eateries of New York, which were owned by post-World War II Italian immigrants who adapted their native cuisine to incorporate the abundance of meat and chicken in their new homeland.

The philosophy is to respect the technique and ingredients of traditional Italian cuisine, yet have the playfulness and willingness to introduce new flavors. This is why the restaurant doesn’t refer to itself as an Italian restaurant, but goes beyond the boundaries of the conventional and traditional, much like the Italian immigrants of New York did.
